Dr. David Edwards, owner, is a Nashville native and grew up about 2 miles from Belle Meade Animal Hospital. He attended the University of Tennessee for both his undergraduate and veterinary education, and received his veterinary degree in 1988. He began practicing small animal medicine at Belle Meade Animal Hospital in 1989, and bought the practice January 1, 1995. He lives nearby with his wife Ashley, 3 sons Sam, Jack, and Foster, and their dogs Sister and Amos, and cats Daisy and Dozer. He also has a menagerie of horses, cattle and cats on their family farm. During his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and cheering on the Tennessee Titans!

Joe Ed Conn , DVM |

Dr. Joe Ed Conn has practiced small animal medicine and surgery at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 1996. Dr. Conn graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991, after receiving a B.S. from Auburn in Animal and Dairy Science in 1987. Also a Nashville native, he lives in Whites Creek, TN with his wife Michelle, son Ethan, and two dogs, two cats, three horses, one guinea pig, and eight chickens. Dr. Conn currently serves as treasurer of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and as a part of the Dean's Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, and hunting and farming on his family property in Kentucky. He has led a veterinary team on medical mission trips to Honduras twice in the past three years. |

Dr. Jamie Rosen has practiced small animal medicine at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since June of 2006. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, and her B.A. from Duke University in 1999. Originally from Atlanta, she is happy to be back in the southeast after 7 years living in Philadelphia and Boston. She lives nearby with her husband Michael, daughter Molly, son Jack, and two cats Henry and Nemo. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and being a mom. |

Dr. Kendra Watkins has practiced small animal medicine and surgery at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since December 2008. Although she grew up in Springfield, IL, she has lived in the Nashville area for the past 3 years. She attended the University of Missouri for both her undergraduate and veterinary education, and received her veterinary degree in 2006. She lives nearby with her husband Josh, daughter Cecilia, and Pembroke corgi Preston. During her spare time, she enjoys playing the French horn, and traveling with her husband Josh's band. |

Dr. Matt Lane has practiced small animal medicine and surgery at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since April 2010. He received a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee in 2005, and then completed his veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee in 2009. He lives with his wife Lauren, and his three dogs Angus, Darla, and Layla. In his spare time, he is a high school cross-country coach, and also enjoys running, wood-working, and watching UT football. His special interests in veterinary medicine include nutrition and preventative medicine, and working with hunting and working dogs. |

Kelley Rogers, LVMT, has been at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 1999. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery and dentistry, and she is one of our head surgery technicians. She lives nearby with her husband James, their two dogs W. and Yogi, and their cat Landry. In her free time, she enjoys singing, traditional bow hunting, gardening, and watching NFL games. She is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan! |

Amy Dash, LVMT, has worked at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 2007. She considers nail trims and anal glands her "specialties," and also enjoys intensive nursing care. She lives with her 3 dogs Hank, Gigi and Shana, as well as her cat Dash. In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her dogs, going to flea markets, junk store shopping, and visiting friends. |

Amber has been at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 2003. She has always had a great love for animals and enjoys working with them each day. She gains extra satisfaction from helping the timid animals become more comfortable in the clinic enviornment. She has a husband and 4 children, and 1 new grand-daughter Autumn! They live with their 2 dogs, Misha and Dottie, and their 2 cats, Trixie and Harriet. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, canoeing, and watching movies with her family. She is our Belle Meade Animal Hospital food connoisseur, and always enjoys trying new foods! She has also become our expert animal photographer! |

Kathy Manning ("Manny"), LVMT, has been at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 2007. She enjoys veterinary surgery, clinical pathology, and parasitology. She has 3 children, Katherine (27 years), Charles Jr (25 years), and Robertson (25 years). She lives nearby with her 10 cats named Old Hickory, Rachel, Andy, Jackson, Emily, Sammy, Alex, Thomas, Matthew and Huey (aka Tater). In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, wildflower photography, counted cross-stitch, geneology, and cheering on the Florida Gators! |

Ashley joined our Belle Meade Animal Hospital team this summer. She enjoys working with both small and large animals, and has a special interest in bovine reproduction and embryology. She is very involved in Rocking M Farms, her family's cattle operation, where she raises Simmental, Maine Anjou, Angus and Chi-influence cattle for show and breeding purposes. She has a border collie named Sally, who is also a working dog on the farm. In her spare time, she is a 4-H mentor and also enjoys showing and raising beef cattle, working on the farm, scrapbooking, photography and traveling. |

Whitney has worked at Belle Meade Animal Hospital for the last 7 months. She is especially interested in animal behavior. She lives with her loving boyfriend of 7 years, Schyler, and her 3 cats. Thumbs is a 14 year old cat with 20 toes, Keysa is a fluffy gray princess, and Slinky is an orange cat that loves to give hugs and kisses. In her spare time, when she isn't taking care of her cats, she enjoys art and music. |

She lives nearby with her husband Jeff, and has two grown children, Brittany and Nick. Vikki and Jeff live with their 3 dogs, Magnolia Petals, Dilly, and Frankie Joe Dirt, their orange tabby cat Muay Thai, their turtle Daniel, their gerbil Dean, and many tanks full of fish. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, gardening, and cooking. |

She has taken over the responsibility of stocking and keeping track of the many medications and supplies that we have in our hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys beer and wine "tasting," and watching UT and Titans footbal games. |

She lives with her 15 year old dog Aries, and her 5 cats, Chloe, Sadie, Smudge, Grizz, and Ruth Ann. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her animals, and playing with her granddaughter. |
