Rhonda Windham

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Biography

Dr. Windham graduated from University College Dublin and began her career in the Big Apple as an intern before taking a full-time position as a forensic veterinarian for the ASPCA.  After nearly a decade in the city that never sleeps, she shifted her focus to general practice to care for companion pets and their devoted humans.  In 2020, Dr. Windham decided to transition from a city mouse to a country mouse and moved to Nashville with her musician husband.  They promptly adopted a rescue dog and named him Marshall, and taught him how to have a discerning ear for Blues and psychedelic rock.

Dr. Windham has a special interest in feline medicine and has a soft spot for geriatric pets.  She takes an integrative approach to veterinary medicine, with occasional acupuncture as an additional layer of support in cases that don’t always improve with conventional medicine alone. In her spare time, she loves baking, training for ½ marathons, hiking, and taking road trips with Mike as co-pilot and Marshall as a backseat driver.
